I think this is quite an interesting topic to write about, a thing which I never thought of before! So the inspiration for this blog comes from a very exciting conversation I had with my cousins Jayanti and Preeti, at a location that I can never forget, in my life. It was Waterloo pier, London and we were waiting for the cruise to come. We were waiting because we missed the earlier cruise, thanks to Shank Lock and his magnanimous mindless mind !!!!!! Anway, that story is out of scope of this blog and warrants special attention from me, the details of which may be disclosed later. Anways, so there we were standing, the three of us, showing our back, to, not so impressed Uncle and Aunty.
Alright, so here we go ! The conversation meandered through different courses, till the subject on faces came up. J and P told me that they always made this relation between human faces and that of animals. This might actually sound rude or even annoy people, but I thought it was quite an intriguing observation. Probably many people made this connection before, but I never made it. Ofcourse, I have heard people saying eyes like cat or ears like an elephant. But we were talking about the whole face ! So then even before we say anything Preet comes up with an animal for herself. She thought she looked like an otter. I was like, yes Preet, indeed, you look like an otter. I am not sure what we thought about Jay's face ! Was it dog? Anyway, so I was horse, which I thought made sense. I must admit I have done this many times afterwards with random people that I see in the road. On extrapolation, can the same be said of people's character? I mean does Preet behave like an otter or do I behave like a horse? I hope to hear from people who know me well, if my demeanour has any remote semblance with that of a horse !!! There are people who will vouch for the fact that I resemble a dog, more than a horse, when it comes to behavior !!!!!! Mom and dad are you reading this? No just joking.
While talking about connections between people and animals, I remember this joke that I read somewhere. I liked it very much. The following is just the gist of it.
A husband says......"I traced my wife's family tree, to about 10 generations before her. I am amused to see that most of them are still climbing the branches."
